Currently I am obtaining my M.Ed. in Educational Technology at the American College of Education where I also work as a Jr eLearning Content Creator. In this capacity, I make and modify instructional videos, simulations, and interactions using Articulate Rise 360, Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond, and the Adobe suite.

In Spring of 2022, I worked as a graduate assistant creating an eLearning experience for the students and staff on Native American Heritage Month as part of the diversity, equity, and inclusion professional development.

I also used to teach Audiovisual Communication and Broadcast Engineering at a high school while leading the district Interactive Media and Production educators through program longevity exercises, professional development, and working with subject matter experts to provide the best content and opportunities for our students. While teaching A/V Comm. I have learned, used, and taught Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, and Screencastify.

I am fueled by my passion for learner-centered design. Each learner is different. Diversifying instruction while also allowing for multiple ways to demonstrate mastery is an area in which I thrive. While I believe “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”, I also believe there are always problems to be solved and solutions to improve. I am not a stagnant person and constantly work toward the betterment of my learners and myself.

My dedication to learner opportunity has driven me to start two programs of study (4+classes each) from scratch by determining community need, coordinating with SME’s, writing and receiving grants, and developing curriculum. My flexibility, ingenuity, leadership skills, and goal/data-driven disposition have led me to successfully run three different departments of educators.
